Backloading is a term used in the removal industry which means, in some cases, sharing truck space with other customers who are on the same route, or, when you manage to get a truck which would otherwise be empty on return to its base. It is a win-win for both the removal company, as it means they can fill their trucks on the go to route and on the return home, and also for you as the customer as it can reduce the cost of your move quite considerably.
